To earn the profits and reputation from having a successful membership site, you first have to create the membership site. This involves creating the page that takes the members’ login information, the members’ area of the site that will contain the valuable information that members will be willing to pay you for to access it, and the ability to take the recurring payments members are willing to pay you for access to the site.
There are two main ways you can utilize to make sure the membership site runs as it should. One way is to utilize an “all-in-one” membership script that will identify who should and shouldn’t have access to the site and its contents, as well as being able to keep track of who pays when, how much, and how often. These scripts are especially useful for those Internet marketers who plan on creating membership sites with a large amount of members and/or creating multiple membership sites.
Alternatively, people can get a payment processor, such as PayPal, and a software program that enables you to lock out specific people from a specific web page on your domain. This option is the bare minimum that is required to allow you to have a profitable membership site, but it can be a more practical choice for those Internet marketers just starting out with the membership site model in their businesses and/or are not as technically-savvy with scripts and have no one or prefer not paying anyone to install and maintain the script.
